"Peters, 63, recently finished performing in “Follies” after a seven-month run at the Kennedy Center.Though the Stephen Sondheim production will travel to California for a limited engagement, Peters said she instead this month will focus on fulfilling a five-concert schedule, which includes Bloomington and Carmel, after having rescheduled the concerts to perform in “Follies.”“Last year, I was in ‘A Little Night Music.' I didn't think it was right to reschedule (concerts) a third time,” she said...“I love concerts,” she said. “I sing songs from shows I've done. I sing songs from other characters and some of mine… . With concerts, I can have fun and go on a journey with these songs.”...Saturday's songs will include “Losing My Mind,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Fever” and “When You Wish Upon a Star.”...Peters said she will probably perform a song she wrote for her book, “Broadway Barks,” named after the nonprofit animal-adoption group she co-founded with Mary Tyler Moore in 1999....Peters' future plans include more guest appearances on the musical TV series “Smash,” which she claimed is “Glee” for adults."
