From: northern VA | posted: 6/5/2005 at 9:27:54 PM ET La Cage Aux Folles-score by Jerry Herman and winner of the Tony for Best Score, much to the dismay of those who wanted Sunday in the Park with George to win that year....and Herman's acceptance speech did not endear him to those in the Sondheim camp (although he has repeatedly said he was not taking a jab at Sondheim and SITPWG). And some have not moved on past that year-just see what happens when the topic comes up on the message boards!
