According to Bernadette's official website she will be on the Joan Hamburg Radio show WOR RADIO 710 AM in New York tomorrow (Monday) from 11:30-12:00.

Hopefully someone can post tomorrow what the interview was about for all of us who don't live in NYC.

listening now...they played "let me entertain you" and said "that was Bernadette Peters from her new cast album"--- Tammy is clearly not Bernadette.

does anyone know if it will reair, either on the radio or online at some point for those of us who missed it? thanks! also, if not, would anyone mind giving a description of what went down? thanks again!

I recorded it as a .wav file, but I have NO idea how to upload the sucker. Plus it's huge - 129 MB, so I don't know if it would upload. I did compress it though, and got it down to 117KB, so I think I can email it to you, provided you have winzip or another compression program. If you want me to try to email it to you, let me know.
It was a good interview, other than the interviewer mistakenly said that the sound bit we heard from "Let me entertain you" was Bernadette, not Tammy.

I also listened; I don't think she said one thing that we haven't heard before--except that I don't remember her mentioning Linklater (sp?) as one of her voice teachers. (But, had I looked at the credits for SIPWG or ITW I would have seen her as voice consultant! Research..research..)The focus was on Gypsy, of course. She also discussed a bit about performing as a child, and protecting her voice. She said that she had been out last night and was writing notes instead of talking--kind of funny.
Oh, when she was talking about the entire family being involved in Gypsy (when she was a child), she then said that her sister is a casting director but never mentioned what her brother does. (I just re-read this--I didn't mean to give the impression that her brother was IN Gypsy when she and her sister were.)
