I see on Playbill that Bernadette will be out of Gypsy on July 21 because her husband is having neck surgery. Hope all goes well.

The playbill article says the surgery is taking place out of town. And their anniversary is the day before. Kind of makes you go ... Hmmmm! LOL Just kidding.

My thoughts are with Bernadette and her husband. I'm sure he'll be okay, though. Maybe they'll have time for an anniversary cupcake in the recovery room.

Well family always comes first. Being Bernadette's age and a father of 3, I have often wondered what her life might of been like if she had had children of her own.
One thing for sure, she would have been a GREAT Mom!!
HEY... I rarely get to use had had together in the same sentence (see paragraph one). English is sooooo cool, unless of course you are taking it in high school.
Damn it's hot here in Arizona. 115 yesterday. I think it's going to my head ramble, ramble, ramble.

i really hope that her husband's surgery goes well. but is she gonna be back for the performance on july 22? PLEASE if anyone knows let me know b/c i got GREAT tickets back in april for that night for my birthday and my best friend is visiting from Mass to go see her and my mom took off work to see her live for the first time...

"Bernadette Peters will not perform in GYPSY on Monday, July 21st as she is taking a personal day to be with her husband who is having neck surgery out-of-town.
Ms. Peters will return to GYPSY at the Shubert Theatre at the Tuesday, July 22 evening performance.
In Ms. Peters absence on Monday, the role of Mama Rose will be played by Maureen Moore."
