According to Regis and Kelly today, all of the dogs from yesterday's show have been adopted with the exception of the 2 older ones that have to go together (Mindy and Pumpkin) one is 7 years old the other is 9 years old.
It broke my heart to find out they weren't adopted when the other dogs received "hundreds of emails"...well, not the dogs themselves. LOL

I would take them in a heartbeat if I had the space and time. This is what is constantly preventing me from getting my own dog. I mean, I have 2 dogs, but they stay at my Father's house. I see them as much as possible, but I am also not the one tied down with the responsability of taking care of them. When I am finished with school and have a real job and my own place, I will definitely adopt a dog (or 2).

I think that they should make Broadway Barks a TV event and show off tons of Dogs and let people from all over the country email or call in to adopt the dogs. I really think they would get tons of people to adopt.

The problem with that idea is that a lot of these shelters won't adopt to anyone outside of the state because it doesn't allow as much control over checking out the adoptive family. But its great to have it advertised on shows like Live with Regis and Kelly because hopefully it will get others to think about adopting animals in their own communities.
