I have seen the preview of Prince Charming that is running on TNT and there is a similar one on the TNT website. No where in any of these clips is Bernadette shown or even mentioned. I know the main story line is between Christina Applegate and Sean MacGuire but they could at least put a mention of Bernadette or at least show her face in the clips.

I noticed that too Is her part really that small that they don't feel it's necessary to show one little clip of her in the commercial?
Maybe they'll show a clip on Regis.

Although, we waited this long to see it; one more week won't kill us. I think I would actually prefer to not see any little clips, that way I can see it all at once for the first time.

Are you sure?

My best friend called me the other night to tell me that she saw and advertisement for the movie on Bravo and that Bernadette was in the movie. Considering my best friend would never have noticed the movie or known about it if they hadn't mentioned Bernadette I figured she must be in the commercials.

I could be wrong.

Well I haven't seen an advertisement on TNT with Bernadette. Though I haven't seen one on Bravo. Did your friend say it was a commercial for Prince Charming?

I don't remember her exact words but it was something like," I saw on TV, that Bernadette Peters is in a movie next week called Prince Charming" I assumed it was a commercial.

Here's a question for you show-biz mavens--doesn't advertising (along with a million other things) get taken care of in the contract? So--if she's not mentioned or shown in the coming attractions, could this be because the producers of the movie aren't contractually obligated? And, of course, the corollary question: is she obligated to talk about or otherwise promote the movie?

No, I would assume she's not obligated to promote the movie. LOL She filmd that thing over 2 years ago, and I thought she mentioned it on Regis one day, but I don't remember.

I would think she would be more concerned about promoting Gypsy and Broadway Barks right now anyway. Chances are she won't even mention "Prince Charming" unless someone else brings it up.

Hi--

As of right now, you're only way of seeing Prince Charming without having TNT is if someone who gets TNT can record it for you or if they eventually make a video of it available.

Its scheduled to premiere on Sunday, July 13th

Broadway Barks itself is not televised. However, several news channels sometimes show clips form the event and interviews with people involved (such as Bernadette) But this might only be on news stations in the NYC area- I don't know. Last year Planet Hollywood's Animal Precinct was there and filmed a piece about s dog who they found abused and were trying to find a home for and took to Broadway Barks.

Well a lot of feature films don't come out until 2 years after they are made so I don't think actors usually figure their obligation to the picture is up. It's the nature of the business. They have just as much interest in making sure it is well publicized as the producers. If they are proud of their work, they want people to know about it and see it. And one job leads to another. Unless she is not happy with the finished result, I would be very surprised if she didn't mention it. Unless she runs out of time or just forgets but I'm sure Regis will have it in his notes.

BroadwayBernadetteLover, I'll gladly tape it for you if you want me to. You would just have to pay for the tape & S&H fees. PM me and let me know if you want me to.
Unless of course there is someone in your area who can do it; that way you don't have to pay S&H or wait for the mail.

Yeah, I read that article this morning. I don't know if they think they'll get more theatre people to watch it by saying Bernadette and Martin are the leads, but that's a little misleading.
I mean, yes their parts are important to the story, but they are not the main characters.

For anyone who might be interested, there's a video of Prince Charming for sale now on ebay. It has a starting price of $9.99 with $5.00 shipping and handling.

I was flipping channels in between watching a commercial break during "Stepmom" and other channels..and when I flipped back to TNT, I saw Bernadette talking about the movie--finally a commercial promoting the show, and she's in it! LOL...keep u'r eyes open for those on TNT.

Take care,
Stacy
