| posted: 7/1/2003 at 11:40:32 PM ET Ok....I am done packing!!! Yea!!! What is the weather like there? It is VERY HOT in Texas right now so I have packed a lot of short sleaved shirts, tee shirts, shorts, sandals, etc. I am bringing my dressier clothes for dinners and shows. Has it been raining there much? What is the daytime/nightime temperature like? Sorry for all the questions...but I want to come prepared!!! My plane leaves DFW tomorrow morning at 7AM and I have to be at the airport at 5:30AM! Ahhh! THe sad thing is that I am not the least bit tired. It's 10:30 here and I need to get to bed soon! Let me know about the conditions, please ! I will check replies before I leave. I am so excited!!! New York...tomorrow and Bernadette....Thursday!

It hasn't been raining this past week and it has been quite hot. I'd say in the upper 80s to even the 90s on some days. It's been sunny and sort of humid. You are good to go with the shorts especially in the city because its always hotter in there than it is out on the island. There is less wind in the city.

Its been pretty hot/muggy here. I heard the temp for this weekend are in the mid 90s. The only day I think it's supposed to rain is tomorrow night(so far...) I think you'd be fine in shorts, t-shirts, short sleeved shirts and then maybe bring a light jacket for the nights. Have fun!

| posted: 7/1/2003 at 11:49:31 PM ET Wow. It was gorgeous today. Mid to low 80s with very little humidity. This whole week is supposed to stay in the 80s but I think it will get more humid. I do not think you will need a jacket at all. I have been out late every night and it has never gotten below the mid 70s. So yes, shorts are perfect. Nicer but cool clothes for dressier occassions. No jacket required but bring a easily portable umbrella for those scattered thunderstorms. Enjoy your trip.

| posted: 7/1/2003 at 11:55:44 PM ET Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am really excited about the whole thing. This will be my first time to actually stay in the city. I have always stayed with friends in CT and taken the train in. I booked a hotel on expedia and I hope that it is a nice place to stay. Here I go again...nerves, anxiety, and excitement all mixed together...I swear, I am not going to get a wink of sleep tonight!
Thanks again,
Brian

Have fun in the city! It's the best place in the world! (Spoken like a true New Yorker lol)
