He said that he had been to the show last night, and specifically mentioned the overture as directed by Melvin [no, corrected someone, it's ,MARVIN] Laird, the trumpet solo, Tammy Blanchard, and of course Bernadette. Kelly said that she loved Bernadette's voice and looks forward to seeing the show. Regis mentioned that Bernadette will be on Live next Tuesday, and praised Bernadette and Gypsy, urging people to see it. Quite a nice endorsement; regardless of one's feelings about Regis, he seems to be a good friend to Bernadette.

Registered: 3/10/2001 | posted: 7/1/2003 at 12:56:06 PM ET Regis mentioned her the last time I was at the show too( the day after the TONYS). He commented on how amazing she is as a performer or something like that and encouraged everybody to go see her in Gypsy. Kelly has also made those sort of comments on the show before too-- as well as Kathie Lee ( who was actually in talks to possibly take over in AGYG after Bernadette left )
Of course he loves her, they're good friends

From: New York City | posted: 7/1/2003 at 5:09:00 PM ET Looking forward to next tuesday's Regis, of course. (Uhhmmmm.... Cindy, would you please remind me the night before, though, because I am uhhh... prone to forget almost everything that isn't pasted to my forehead... hee)
Does anyone know if Bernadette is scheduled to actually perform, or if she's just going to sit for an interview? I know Broadway Barks is the following week, so I figured she'd likely be promoting that instead of performing. But you never know.

From: New York City | posted: 7/2/2003 at 4:10:21 PM ET LOL -- that's a good idea except... I am always forgetting to put up the reminders. No seriously -- it's true. I think it's a mixture of forgetfulness and procrastination. So I tell myself I'll do it later when I have time and then I forget to do it later. And this means that I forget to remind myself so I won't forget.
I am a very confusing person.
