I was pretty sure her health had been restored 100% and then I read the subject line of your post and my heart hit the ground!!! Well, I just hope Coco is back in full health very soon...but I am even happier that Bernadette is doing just fine!!!

The first time the people at ATC started this( when the castig of Coco was announced) it was funny...but this time...its getting old haha
Although who ever posted about thinking Patty LuPone's dog should take over...now that was creative and pretty funny LOL

I read another article somewhere in which Berloni said that they switched from the Yorkie to the Poodle cuz the Yorkies made Peters sneeze too much not cuz she wanted a lighter dog.

Registered: 3/10/2001 | posted: 7/2/2003 at 9:11:35 PM ET We actually discussed this once before--about Bernadette being allergic to dogs and the animals in Gypsy. I posted a pretty lengthy post about the reasons why a poddle is such a good companion for someone with allergies...

Registered: 6/26/2003 | posted: 7/2/2003 at 10:36:12 PM ET Right I remember the discussion and also Peters has talked about her allergy on Regis and the View. I was just wondering why the article didn't say anything about the allergy which I think would be more of an issue for switching the breeds.
Also here's something silly to question. If Chowsie in the beginning is Chowsie I, why is it Chowsie III at the end of the show. How many years are supposed to have passed in this show really? If little dogs can live from 13-18+ years, why isn't it Chowsie II. Although I suppose if Rose feeds her dogs Chinese food they might not live as long as they could.

I loved your comments on the Chowsie I to Chowsie the III that made ny day!
It's a very good question, you'll have to ask Mr. Laurents on that one. hehe

| posted: 7/3/2003 at 11:23:00 AM ET I think the word "Third" just sounds better than "Second." No, seriously. From a theatrical point of view, "Third" just rolls off the tounge better.
Maybe Chowsie I was really old in the first scene, and then so many years passed, and Chowsie III was really young. There could have been one in between. It was definitely a good 15 years between the first scene and the last one (small dogs usually live up to 15 years, 19 at most). I'm sure the Chinese food was a factor in a shorter life.
OMG! Why am I analyzing this so much! LOL!!!
