Hmmmmm....so hard, so hard! Probably the movie that I first started to love Bernadette, which was the "Witch" in "Into The Woods", This was a hard question because I love her in everything.

I'm just a Broadway Baby learnin how to sing and dance....

Probably her character (Baily)in "Bobbie's Girl" for movies, and Annie Oakly for a Broadway character...I would say Rose, but you said "Besides Rose" LOL

Well I have to say the my love for Bernadette Peters began with the movie "Annie" and i even watched it this weekend on i think he Disney Channel. The thing is that i respect her so much as Bernadette Peters that no matter what role she is in or song she is singing my admiration is endless.

Mabel. Definitely Mabel. She was so perfect for that role. The Goodbye Girl is a close second. I know it was a flop but I just play that CD to death!

I love the "Goodbye Girl" cast recording. LOL I play it all the time too.
Did you see her in "Mack and Mabel?" I wish I could have (I wasn't born yet though). I bet it was wonderful.
