I understand there are NO TRAINS (subways) from that airport???? unbelievable as that may be, the maps are greek to read and the live people are worse! Any help with clear directions on how to go from Laguardia to Penn station would be EXTREMELY helpful. Otherwise we will just cab it. Thanks.

| posted: 5/1/2003 at 4:30:28 PM ET Catch the M60 bus at LaGuardia airport and take it to the Astoria Boulevard subway station. The bus will cost you $1.50 (exact change) and ask the driver for a subway transfer. Ask the driver to tell you when the subway stop is coming up and sit in front of the bus near the driver. Take the "N" train at the Astoria Boulevard subway stop to the 34th Street Stop. Walk from Broadway to 7th Avenue (Penn Station is located at 34th St/7th Ave). Or if you want to completley stay underground. Stop on the subway at the 42nd Street stop and transfer to the A/C/E line or the 1/2/3/9 line and take it one additional stop to 34th Street/Penn Station.
I would suggest taking the N train the whole way and walking the block giving you an opportunity to look at the windows of Macy's. :-)
