for those of you who said you picked up your tickets at the booth, can you please tell me how much they were and how good were the seats and also how good the chances are of getting them at all. thanks!

I would say as they get further into previews (and closer to opening night), the selection at TKTS will be less and less. I went last Friday and got a seat in the orchestra but it was the last row and way over on the left side. The ticket cost me $54.25 which was the $100 price discounted by 50% plus the $1.25 renovation fee plus $3 TKTS fee.

For the Saturday matinee, someone from my bus went to the TKTS booth for a ticket to Gypsy, and said that the only seats left were in the Balcony, obstructed view. She got a ticket for something else. Looks like they're getting close to selling out some of these performances, or close to it.
