I'm tapped out brainwise for new "big features" to add (like the timeline section). Any one have a request?
Otherwise, refinements on existing stuff are welcome.

A new big feature? Just an idea but a "Video Lounge" would be pretty amazing if possible (copyright issues not getting in the way of course). She has done so much on TV over the years ... so a different Bernadette video of a different song each month?

I'm pretty sure that would be completely illegal. Youtube gets away with it, but I'm not quite sure how.

It's been suggested that Youtube gets away with it because the videos are rendered uncopyable by some special embeding procedure and therefore the contentious "third party" element is taken out of the equation. Whether that's true or not I don't know.

Yes, I really like this idea--quotations--thanks, anon. Now, who will volunteer to find all of the quotes we already have on the site; I'm sure we all can add our favorites, too.
(It's a lot better, and more feasible, than an idea that I had, which was to link every article that anyone had posted, into some kind of master linked list --imagine the work that would take! Which is why I deleted the idea before I even typed it...)

Jean, your idea is great too. The problem is that so many of the older links don't work any more because the material is no longer available on the different websites.

OK, Rose, I took you at your word and just sent a couple of quotes-thanks heaps for organizing!
Should we do these chronologically?
And will Kevin provide a special place to put them?
(After awhile you may get duplicates, especially if people send in quotes from reviews--but hopefully you'll spot them, and as soon as they get posted we'll be a able to see what not to send in.)

By hand the would be annoying, but I can write a program to cull that information out of the database that holds the message board. I'd have to add some intelligence to it so it could determine if the links are still active.
Perhaps that'd make another interesting wiki page.
