In addition, they were able to list individual contributors names below our title. Thanks again to everyone who pitched in for this. I hope to be able to come to you guys again next year to do the same. While I do not know any final totals of money collected, I can tell you that I heard they had raised over $100,000 before the day even started. As soon as I hear back a final monetary count as well as an adoption count, I will let you all know.
I will be uploading my photos soon and will post a link for people to view them. I will also take a picture of the page in the Playbill where our names are listed.
It was a lot of fun! Glad I was able to meet some new people from the board though I know there were still some I missed. Hope everyone had a great time!

From: NYC | posted: 8/1/2005 at 7:36:43 AM ET If you want to see the Newscom pictures, then just go to www.newscom.com and sign in as a guest - there are instructions - then you just have to type broadway barks in your search. As Jean said, there are 4 pages of pictures.
I didn't see Rob Schneider or Orfeh on stage - that would have been cool.
Regis: I'm looking at you, you know, when I see you on stage, in these Sondheim musicals and these great roles...
Bernadette: I'm not as dippy.

From: northern VA | posted: 8/1/2005 at 1:59:06 PM ET I am having a serious attack of doggiemania. However, now is not a good time for me to have one. It wouldn't be fair to the dog, even a small one. I'd feel guilty and have to spend money on doggie daycare.

I spoke last night with BP and MTM regarding the photos with Mary's hand in BP's face...and they said, and I quote..."they were both having a great time together and it was all in fun".
Also, what makes you think that Mary is not being asked to come back next year?
Bernadette and Mary will absolutely be back next year if they still so desire.

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 8/1/2005 at 2:43:55 PM ET I thought that picture was really cute! Not sure why Anon was taken aback by it. Had it been a perfect stranger maybe, but they are really good friends...I thought is was all in good fun.
Not sure where the comment about Mary not returning came from either. Why on earth wouldn't she return? I thought they both did a great job this year and didn't notice anything unusual from either of them. I hope they both continue this for years to come!

Of course they were joking around during those pictures. I think that was pretty obvious.

From: NYC | posted: 8/1/2005 at 5:51:12 PM ET I love that there are so many pictures - I had fun using Mandy's camera too - and its cool in her set that there are two different views of some of the same scenes. And aren't there a wonderful number of pictures of John Dossett looking especially dishy?! I forwarded them to a friend of mine who has never seen him before (she didn't know she has seen him on Law & Order) and she demanded to immediately know who John Dossett the Cutie is! Who needs newscom or any other media pictures when we have our media?! It was really fun seeing all of the dogs and the celebs - and of course hours of Bernadette being cute - but the best for me was being with friends all day - and even making some new friends! I even ran in to my friend Kristin from Chicago who is the founder of Renee Fleming's yahoo fan group and she joined our little group for the day. It was a bit of a convention for sure.
