has anyone besides me heard her sing (most of) the song "paris holds the key" from anastasia?? i was watchign the movie with my little cousin...and i thought i heard her voice...so i downloaded that song off of kazaa, and sure enough it is!! it's actually a really catchy song....

Bernadette has done quite a few voice-overs for animated characters: Sophie (from the movie "Anastasia"), Rita the cat (from "Anamainiacs" and the movie "Wakko's Wish"), Angelique (from "Beauty and the Beast:The Enchanted Christmas"), FiFi the poodle (from the tv show "Teacher's Pet"), and possibly others that I'm just not aware of!
Even when I was younger, I always knew when it was her voice coming from the cartoons...it's always been very distinctive (in a good way).  I think it's very funny that 3 out of the 4 characters I listed had a french accent LOL

Rita the cat is by far the best. Though maybe that's because there are lots of episodes to hear her.

animaniacs used to be on when I was younger but they stopped showing it. If i remember correctly my big sister and I used to love it because sometimes they spoofed musicals and they had a singing cat who once, I think, sang a paraody of "On my Own". Was this a completely different cartoon or am I right? was it rita?
yes she does have a very distinctive voice, kind of croaky and squeaky sometimes sometimes -I love it!

That was Rita or rather that was Bernadette doing Rita. It was always the Rita and Runt (a dog) cartoons. Rita always sang at least one song during each cartoon. Animaniacs was cancelled a while ago.

It may have been cancelled, but anamainiacs still shows re-runs (at least, here in NY they do); not very often, but once in a while.

Yes, on the toons network or something like that. :-) That is how I saw the episodes I have seen. Never saw them during their initial run but I don't think they are making new ones now.

In reply to Jenny's comment on that whole "On My Own" parody...that episode that u'r talking about was the episode "Les Miseranimals"--(sad that I can recall that LOL) and anyways...that whole episode was a parody of Les Miz, but I don't remember hearing Rita singing an On My Own parody....I posted a link long ago on the message board (I think if u search 'Animaniacs' u'll find a post by me, that has a link to a site w/ sound clips from her episodes..) :-)

lol when i was little i was obsessed with animaniacs, and rita the cat...without knowing it was her...because i had no clue who she was...but i was conivnced that my cat was really rita in disguise...
but anyway, i enjoy seeing her voiceovers, she is quite good in them...
that is something that i would really love to do, be the voice of a cartoon character.
