I just got the Ethel Merman version of the Gypsy CD. On the end they put Mama's Talkin' Soft and Nice She Ain't. They describe Rose perfectly. I would have loved to hear Tammy and John sing them.

"Oh no, you won't. No, not a chance. No arguements, shut up and dance." -You'll Never Get Away From Me

"And if it wasn't for me then where would you be Miss Gypsy Rose Lee?" -Rose's Turn

A theater in Atlanta was going to do Mama's Talkin Soft b/c their Baby June had this incredible voice and they wanted to show her off. They said that the song was taken out of the show originally b/c it was sung from with the girls singing on a ledge or something high up and the original Baby June was terrified of heights so it was cut. The theater in Atlanta tried to the song but they couldn't get rights to it.
