Isn't Bernadette funny in the eposide of All In The Family?

She's funny, but she's also really sensuous which is so unexpected in the context of All in the Family. No one else was ever like that on that show--they usually just stood around and yelled at each other. The tone of her scene really came out of nowhere for a Norman Lear sitcom. She wasn't shrill, and that was like a breath of fresh air.

It's episode no. 119, "Gloria Suspects Mike," first broadcast November 17, 1975. Bernadette plays Linda Galloway, a college student with "a C- mind in an A+ body." Mike goes to her apartment for a statistics tutoring session, and becomes first flustered and then panic-stricken as her seductive intentions become more and more apparent. It's definitely worth watching. You can catch it on TVLand from time to time.

Do you think they would have it on those All in the Family DVD's? What season was it on?
