Okay folks, this is where things are at this moment.....

At my check of e-bay someone did
place a $1000 bid on the package. That means that the next bid must be at least $1025, and may be more depending on if the 1st bidder set a ceiling bid.

To date, four have made pledges totaling
$700. I'm assuming that all four of us are still in with the understanding that some folks have reached the maximum they can give. That leaves us $325 short, not including any cushion.

So what shall we do? My suggestion is to leave it open for people to still pledge through most of Wednesday and then see where things are. If still short more than $100 at that time we close up shop and be very jealous of the person who eventually is the high bidder.

If people are concerned about the limited items (like the two tickets, pin and poster) and how they would be divided, please know that not everyone now pledged is necessarily interested in any or all items. In other words, in addition to the thrill of meeting Bernadette backstage, it may work out that gets an item. It all depends.

So if you've been waiting to see how things are going and you can spare a couple of bucks we'd love to hear from you!

You can PM me.

I would love to chip in, but I just spent my all of my fun money on an expensive (and well worth it) trip to NYC! Sprung for the good seats at Gypsy too, of course. I wish you guys the best of luck though, hope you make it. Such a great experience.

My friend and I went in on an auction similiar to this not too long ago and we both went backstage to meet her. It was for a lovely cause as all the money went to charity (BCEFA). Let me tell you, this was one of the best experiences (if not the most ) of my life! We actually sat and chatted with Bernadette over champagne in her dressing room. This whole experience was simply amazing! She was so gracious and polite, absolutely lovely.
I really hope those of you going in on this win! You certainly will not be disappointed! This is also for another great cause (Broadway Barks) and one that Bernadette is very passionate about. Goodluck!

Thanks to those of you who pledged $ toward the Gypsy night. Unfortunately, we are out of the running -- at least by my wallet!
Let's just say that the winning bid will be higher than $1401.

Thanks again all.

Sorry we didn't get it, but what a nice amount for Broadway Barks; and what a pleasure to try to do this together.

Thanks to everyone, from those who pledged to those who gave us good vibrations. And especially to PA Fan and Gypsy 1527 for doing the work.
