Apparently they were talking about that new reality TV show, The Littlest Groom. They said that Bernadette should be on that show because she's so small but has a "personality larger than life." One of the other radio talk show hosts said that she's one of the nicest people in show business and she is not THAT short. lol

| posted: 3/2/2004 at 5:50:34 PM ET Hey, funny you mentioned it because it was me! I called into the Z Morning Zoo to talk about the Cold Stone Creamer on 42 street and I mentioned that I went to see GYPSY. They then asked if it was closing and i was "Nooo!!!" and I told everyone to go see it.(They mentioned that they had seen it and loved it !) Then Elvis Duran said "Isn't Bernadette really short?". I said "well, she's tiny" and he said (as a joke) "isn't she on the littlest groom". They were sooo funny! So i did a little promotion for GYPSY LOL

About 5'2", right? It's not like she's 4 feet tall. I always see her on the Upper West Side, and she looks totally normal to me, and I'm tall for a girl (5'8").

| posted: 3/2/2004 at 11:21:42 PM ET Anonymous, Have you ever actually stood next to her? You only mention that you have seen her a lot on the street so I figure it might be from afar. If you stand next to her, you might feel she is really tiny. I'm 5'7" so I'm coming at this from, it seems, a similar height as you and when I met her once during AGYG, I felt like I was completely towering over her. And I will go on record as saying I do not think she is 5'2" . I know that is what she claims to be though I think a magazine article in the last couple of years had her listed as 5'1" but I wouldn't be surprised if the woman is 5 feet or less. Plus in addition to her height, she is just really tiny. A true petite woman, in every way.

And if Bernadette were really under 5', what would that make someone like Kristin Chenoweth? I don't think Bernadette has ever looked short on film, but I remember thinking that Chenoweth actually looked like a dwarf or a midget when I first saw her on some sitcom. I think she was very unflatteringly costumed so her head looked out of proportion to her tiny frame. It wasn't til I saw her in Wicked that I got that impression of her out of my head.

From Internet Network: 205.188.209.x | posted: 3/3/2004 at 8:45:42 AM ET Yeah, I tower over her because I'm 5'8" (I stood right next to her at a starbucks), but I tower over lots of my friends who are a normal kind of short too. As I said before, Bernadette looks totally normal, and I don't think of her as extremely petite because she is not scrawny like Sarah Jessica Parker. Now there's someone who's tiny tiny!

Sooo, she's short. She's the epitome of the expression:
"Good things come in small packages."
It's all perspective anyway. Tammy looks so very tall on stage, like a six-footer, but she's not all that tall either. A couple of us autograph-seekers were remarking about that...

From: New York City | posted: 3/4/2004 at 2:15:15 AM ET Kristin Chenoweth and I are the same height exactly - 4'11. I know this for a fact because the last time I stood next to her, she said to me, "How great. I almost forgot, you're 4'11 too, aren't you?"
I have NO idea how tall Bernadette is, though. I thought she was 5'3. I am probably wrong. lol

Q: Any funny incidents or accidents with Kristin (Chenoweth)?
Norbert Leo Butz: I have this Errol Flynn moment where I swing in on this rope. One night in San Francisco, I let go of the rope and the rest of the actors started cracking up. I turned around and the rope had literally tied around Kristin's head and got caught on her crown and was pulling her off stage. It was like watching Barbie get hung.
