The retrospective will include one hundred of Scavullo's most intriguing images: photographs spanning his 50-year career that helped define an era. The retrospective will be published in ten portfolios, each containing ten hand toned and hand numbered silver gelatin prints.
Each portfolio will be published in a limited editor of 150.
The first portfolio, to be released in March 2004, will be titled "Song" and will include the images of Mick Jagger, Sting, Janis Joplin, Bernadette Peters, Diana Ross, Cher, Lucianno Pavarotti, Ravi Shanker, Lena Horne and Deborah Harry.
Here's a link (I hope) to Bernadette's

Registered: 6/26/2003 | posted: 1/14/2004 at 1:05:44 AM ET OK, I know I've seen another photo of Bernadette credited to Scavullo somewhere. I think it might be the one on Page 9 of her Photo Gallery first one on the left, second row. Has anyone else seen that photo in an article or book? It's going to bug me til I figure out where I saw that photo first.

It's in that same plasticy, glitzy style that he used(which I never liked), but somehow I don't think it's his work. I actually bought that photo on ebay a while back, but it wasn't credited to anyone. As Moljul said, I think it was a publicity headshot from around 1980, probably used to promote her albums and club appearences of that time.
