How exciting. I saw the show at the Museum of Television and Radio several years ago. It was wonderful. Can't wait.

I think even more exciting than the Cinderells airing will be the upcoming six-part documentary "Broadway: The American Musical." That should be really good.

Now this is good news. I've always wanted to see the Julie Andrews "Cinderella"; I love the CD. Somehow I was under the mistaken impression that the show was done live and no tapes existed. The version I grew up with was the 1964 one with Lesley Ann Warren, which was also pretty swell.

I've seen the Julie Andrews CINDERELLA. Imagine having a show written for you!

The one I'm dying to see is CAMELOT.

Upon meeting Ms Andrews I asked her if there is a film of her performance, (I'm sure you've all seen the magical excerpts). She said that nothing exists.

I can't believe it. There must be a kinescope. Does anyone have any info?

It aired in NY too - but very frustrating because it was interrupted so often for fundraising. Argh. BUT even in black & white old television film, Julie Andrews was still exquisite!
