According to Broadway.com Man of La Mancha is set to close on September 14th. What ashame

I feel bad for the cast and creative team --this show just didn't get the audience and attention I thought it should. I saw it in Washington and just loved it, and had planned on seeing it again; I'm afraid I won't get the chance.

Audience attendance actually seemed to have gone up in the past few weeks. They weren't selling out but they were playing to about 80% capacity. Which really isn't that bad. Except for last week...it suddenly dropped down to about 65% capacity
