There were 2 understudies, one for Boq, the other Ms. Morrible. The cast was phenomenal! Idina has bronchitis currently and I was worried that she would sing a different arrangement to a few songs, but she started and ended phenomenally! I had never heard her sing "Defying Gravity" so amazingly... (well the end part)... there was some pitch problems when she and Jennifer were harmonizing on "I hope you're happy in the end... my friend". I've been told that I sound sooo much like Michelle Federer, and that's a huge compliment to me, now that I heard her really sing! Jennifer Laura Thompson is phenomenal! She was hysterical as well as super sweet and genuinely funny after curtain calls when they talked about donations for BroadwayCares, and at the stagedoor. Idina and Joey were a little off when they sang "As Long as You're Mine". Parts of that song were amazing, others were slightly "iffy" because they were laughing quite a lot, and Idina began to cough at the beginning. She pulled it off though.
I went to the stagedoor (first time i've ever gone to a stagedoor!!!!) and I got autographs from Joey, Jennifer, and Idina! They were all soooo sweet! I had a conversation with each of them too!!!! It was great! I also got pics w/ Joey and Jennifer. Idina came out fairly quickly. I duno how she got that green makeup off so quickly. She was out in maybe 15 minutes after the show ended! And the rest of the cast was before that. I didn't get to meet Michelle! Another time. Joey was the first out, I told him how I loved his performance and that I wore green just so that i could match a "wicked" theme. He thought it was funny... might i add, he has gorgeously hott eyes. And then Jennifer came out a few moments after. We talked about what she was wearing. I told her that I liked her hat, and someone else said that they liked her vest" and she kept talking about how silly she looked and stuff... and then she complimented me on my boots... which I actually don't like much (they're just random black boots that are just comfy). Anyways, she's such a sweetheart!!!! And finally, Idina came out. She signed everyone's playbill/ whatever. I told her that although I heard she had been sick how phenomenal I thought she was tonight, and she thanked me, and she told me that each song she sang she expected not to be able to reach it, yet she just did whatever came out, and she was so funny about it. And btw... she's soooo pretty! grrr.. *jealous here* of that and that she's on Broadway!
anyways... sorry to ramble on. I know... i must have frustrated a bunch of you about this. But, I just had to write down some of the stuff.
Oh, and on the way home, we were pulled over by cops telling my friend (who was driving) that she had a blinker light not working or something... that was really scary.
anyways... thanks for reading, if you've bothered!

Not at all! I enjoy reading about people's experiences at shows. It sounds like it was a great night (save for the cop incident. But she should get that fixed!)
