It's scheduled to be on Oxygen this Sunday at 4 p.m. if you get that network.

As a student who is being classically trained in piano, -I play a lot of Chopin's work. And lucky for me, I got a double dose of faves in this movie, Bernadette, and a story about Frederick Chopin's relationship w/ writer George Sand (her real name being Aurora something..I can't recall...)

For me, I loved the movie. I think it's worth renting (I checked it out @ my library)...Bernadette plays Marie D'agoult (sp?), the mistress of composer/pianist- Franz Liszt (also a very good friend of Chopin's; played by Julian Sands)

I don't know if you want me to go into the plot of it, so I won't.

There are also some other familiar actors that are in the movie, such as Hugh Grant who plays Chopin, Judy Davis who plays George Sand, and Mandy Patinkin.

And another thing that I loved about the movie is that Chopin's songs are being played! (I heart Chopin)

Take care,
Stacy

Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson were on the Oprah show a few weeks ago, to plug "Love Actually." Asked how many movies they had made together, Emma said four or five and then something like, "We made that little movie in France, 'Impromptu.' It was very low budget." And Hugh said, "I think we all shared the same wig."
