Let's come up with a list of the songs she ought to sing on said album.

How's 'bout:
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
"Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire (the Christmas Song)"
and
"We Need a Little Christmas" from "Mame"
for starters....

I'd need to give a list some thought, but first I just want to chime in and say YES! that would be a perfect idea. A few years back Bernadette mentioned in some interview that she was considering making a Christmas CD, but I guess since then she's been too busy with other things to get around to it. If she does do it, it would be the perfect match of singer and material.

SingOutAnnie, Yeah, those three would be essential.

Well, we do have her singing a brief solo in "White Christmas" with the AGYG cast--Carols for a Cure, 1999.

I'd pay a lot of money to hear her sing those songs, SingOutAnnie. I think that someone said, a few years ago, that she sang "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" at a concert, but I can't remember the details.

And...
"I'll be Home for Christmas"
"Silver Bells" (good 'city' song)
"Sleigh Ride"
and, one of my favorites and a Jule Styne song,
"Christmas Waltz."
And, then maybe,
"Let it Snow" from a movie of the same name?

How bout..
O Holy Night and Santa Baby...I'd love to hear her do the classics that some of you mentioned, but I'd also love to hear something goofy like Nuttin' for Christmas

Absolutely. Gotta have a couple of silly ones.
And "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is a good choice too.

I'd have her close with a slow, serious one like "O Holy Night" or "Silent Night," but have most be upbeat.

I think we about got this licked!! All we need do now is to get her into a studio...
What else has she got to do??

lol You know I have Christa. Being the Barbra fan that I am. That's my favorite song on that album.

LOL Maybe Bernadette can sing "Dominick the Donkey" or "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer".

LOL!!! I'd love to see her sing "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" It does kind of seem like a Bernadette-song. I'm all in favor of a Bernadette Christmas album.

How about somebody write her a letter asking for one, and then it could get mailed around and each of us on the boards could sign it? Just an idea.
