My apologies for the OT post, but I know most people post to this forum as opposed to the "general theatre chat" forum, and I know most of you are theatre fans in general.

Yeah. Rambling.

Anyway.

For those of you who are Mamma Mia fans, and/or original cast member fans, I thought I would post an FYI. All the major principals will be leaving Mamma Mia on the same night, October 19th. Here's the list of those departing:

Louise Pitre... Donna Sheridan
Tina Maddigan... Sophie Sheridan
Judy Kaye... Rosie
David W. Keeley... Sam Carmichael
Jeanine Morick... Tanya
Richard Binsley... Harry Bright

Their replacements all go on for the first time on October 22nd.

This is sad news for those of us who are huge fans of the original cast, but -- like all Broadway shows that remain open more than a year or two, the show must go on.

<--- still considering trying to get a ticket on the 19th, even though I have no money...

Regis: And look at all this hair. My God. That's a lot of hair. Look at this. How does hair get this way?
Bernadette: Um.. it sort of grew out of my head like this.

Wow is Joe Machota staying in the cast as Sky? He has been it since the show opened...what a hotie.

I love that show so much. I really cannot picture anyone other than Louise Pitre in that role. It really makes me mad that they never made an Original Cast Recording.
