Registered: 3/10/2001 | posted: 7/19/2003 at 11:18:13 PM ET Its not commercially available yet. And its not on Canal Street either. It never was. I guess they( the vendors there) never considered it to be a big enough "hit" to sell it there

From: New York City | posted: 7/19/2003 at 11:41:12 PM ET LOL. My father has a friend who he does business with in China, and he already owns The Hulk on DVD. it's insane. I've never actually been much acquainted with the bootleg market, though. Do they just sell all of those down on Canal Street? And how are they getting them, nowadays? I've heard of people bringing video cameras to the theatres and videotaping all of it, but I know there must be something else they're doing to up the quality...

Registered: 6/25/2003 | posted: 7/20/2003 at 12:27:35 AM ET Yes, it was on Canal Street. I bought it there on June 23. I'm not sure if it's still there, though, since they usually rotate their "stock" very frequently. LOL
They sell almost everything on Canal Street nowadays! Last time I was there I saw The Hulk, Chicago, Bend it Like Beckham, etc. Although that was about 3 weeks ago, so I don't know what they have those anymore.
The quality really varies from DVD to DVD...lol, I have some DVD's from Canal Street that start in the middle of the movie and are very grainy, and some that are great quality. I actually have this one where you can see hands and hear a zipper, and then the movie abruptly stops! You never know though. In my opinion it's a pretty good deal, as most of them only cost about $5-10.

Too bad they couldn't do that with this movie. I haven't been there in a few weeks and figured that they weren't going to sell it since its been out of the theatres for quite some time now.By this time it almost makes more sense to wait a little longer for the movie to be commercially available and let the people who actually deserve their pay, get it. Atleast you'll know its good quality( I have gotten some DVDs from Canal Street-- some had good quality. Others...not so good...)

| posted: 7/21/2003 at 10:13:41 PM ET yeah, I've just given up on buying a Canal Street copy. I've waited this long; a few more months won't kill me.
I hope they have some outtakes, extra scenes, and narration. Even if Bernadette doesn't talk on it, it will be intersting to see if Michael or anyone else says some things about working with her.
