I have heard that Bernadette is ill and not performing. My tix are for tomorrow night? What is the current scoop?

I have seen no such announcement any place so there is no reason to think it is anything more than a rumor. I'm sure we will have these pop up for the next few weeks.

My wife and I and our 13-year-old daughter saw the show on Wednesday, May 14, and Bernadette was spectacular!! We waited at the stage door following the show, and she and all the cast members stopped to sign autographs as they left the theater. What an unforgettable experience for us all!

Well, I first read it in the New York Times, but then I had a friend who had tix for a Wednesday performance last week and she found out that BP had not performed for several days. She had a respiratory infection, according to NYT.

Yes Bernadette has been very sick. She missed 4 preview performances because of a respiratory infection. Because she was unable to take enough time off to get better (because critics were coming to see her performance) she had a relapse of the infection last week. She did not perform Monday through Thursday of last week. She also skipped the Saturday matinee so as to not push her self too much after just being sick. However since this week's performances have started (on Monday), she has been there for each and every performance and from what I have heard it back at full strength.
