"It’s hard to believe that the first preview of the musical is only ten days away. If you haven’t yet booked your tickets, what are you waiting for?!" LOL (those were the words of Andrew Gans on March 21st)  I just get excited when I think about it! (It's 6 days now)....countdown time!
So, anyway, has anyone seen any commercials for Gypsy yet? I remember before Annie Get Your Gun previewed, there were commercials a good month or 2 before that first preview. I haven't seen one commercial yet, or a cab with the Gypsy logo for that matter (but those usually come after the show starts).

Any idea what TV station they are most likely to air on? I remember seeing a lot of Broadway commercials on NBC and ABC.

I'm counting on all you lucky folks with preview tickets to report back immediately to the rest of us in stupefying, excruciating detail. I'm really getting excited about this whole thing. Seems like we've been waiting forever, and now it's finally about to happen.

LOL Don't worry Karen, I'm sure everyone going to the first preview will have something to say
LOL I just can't imagine anyone pathetic enough to rush right home & jump on the computer  Sorry, I don't mean to offed anyone, but I know I'll most likely be basking in the thrill of seeing Gypsy finally and not go online until the next day.

Okay, Okay, You're allowed to wait until the next day, but absolutely no longer than 24 hours tops! The funny thing is, I've seen messages on other boards from people who actually post during intermissions which does seem maybe a tad extreme but, oh well...

Be on the lookout for a very cool article on Playbill.com tomorrow (well today since its 1 am here lol) about Gypsy( it should be on there by tomorrow).

Everyone certainly has their idiosyncracies, and if one of them just happens to be going online and posting after a show, (lets say Gypsy...hehe)I say more power to them!!! LOL

Heck, I'll be glad to see if someone posts about it right away Then I'll have something to read the next day.
LOL Wow, I've never heard of someone posting during intermssion! They must have brought a lap top with them I wouldn't think that's allowed?

Wow...you've gotta be pretty desperate if its come down to wanting to be the first to post that you're gonna go to the cyber cafe just to do that! Come on guys!! WHO CARES who posts first?!?! I'm sure everyone will have a different view and everyone will have valuable things to contribute to posts about the first preview. Who really cares if you're first or last?? If your more concerned about being the first to post then I feel bad for you! You should be more excited and even grateful to be seeing this show its first night when there are plenty of people on this board who can't make it!
