A friend told me that she saw the GYPSY marquee up at the Shubert yesterday

I took pictures of one of the two HUGE banners they have up on either side of the Shubert but they came out really dark

If I remember, the next time I'm by the Shubert I'll take more pics.

I'm going to try to take some pictures myself in the next couple of days so I'll try to get one of the banner on the side of the theater and send it to Kevin. It is pretty cool.

I finally took those pictures today and have forwarded them on to Kevin. I think I got some shots that you didn't get Bwaybaby but didn't take the same ones you did. I also sent Kevin the picture of the panel at the Broadway Hall of Fame with BPs name on it that I said I would send a long time ago and also a picture of the picture in Vanity Fair. Needless to say, Kevin has several pictures waiting for him.

Thanks for posting those Kevin. I found the subway one quite by accident. I go through that station all the time and they have a whole wall of Broadway Show posters and I've kept my eye out for a Gyspy poster. Usually each panel contains a poster from one show. On my way to the Shubert to take the pictures, I went through the station again and decided to look. And to my very pleasant surprise there was no only one "poster" but five. I'm sure renting 5 of those panels must have cost a pretty penny. :-)

I really like that subway set-up. I'm impressed that they rented all 5! I wonder how long they'll stay there!?

Your pics came a little too dark too moljul.

LOL someone is gonna have to get better pics during the day so they'll be more clear.
I can't wait until the outside of the theater is finshed. It's so exciting!

Yeah, I took them about 5:15 when the sun was starting to go down and it was a fairly dreary day to begin with. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll try to take more during the day. Really everything showed up except the two "walls" with the black.

Wow. I just went back and looked at the pictures and they did show up dark. They were much brighter on my computer. You could pretty much read the black walls. I'll definitely try to get better pictures this weekend.
