Thanks so much for the reviews guys. My next question was going to be if anyone stage doored. I would love to see that pic. This makes me so excited to see her in Feb!

Those binoculars with the hidden camera built in sound amazing. I hope you're not planning to sit in the front row ...

The staff at performing venues will almost always tell you that a certain pain-in-the-rear rule is "the artist's request", whether it really is or not. This can usually be traced back to some sort of insurance/liability issue. For instance, if the promoter figures up that they can save a few dollars in insurance by hiring some extra security to search everyone's handbag, they will do it, and if you complain they will tell you that "the artist" requested that everyone's handbag be searched. I've seen this happen several times in my humble life as a musician. Of course, I don't know that Bernadette or her agent really didn't want to have pictures taken at that particular event, but most fans on this message board can tell you that it would be quite out of character for her - I have never seen anyone so gracious as Bernadette has been with her fans.
ohhh..thats REALLY too bad, people can be jerks. and i totally get what you're saying about it being out of character for her. i doubt she would do that. she almost always takes pics with her fans. she really is so great. ah well. i mean, if i dont get pics ill be sad but at least i will get the chance to see her live anyway. so im still grateful.

At the stage door, I've never had a problem. It was just in the green room, so it probably was a venue thing. But that's weird too, considering I saw her in the same hall in 2002 and got some great pictures in the green room, including my avatar.
When I attended the Barbra Streisand concert in London a few months back I not only had my bag searched - but had to stand with my arms outstretched while the security man ran a metal detector up and down my left and right side, back and front. I didn't really mind because I was laughing my head off after hearing the lady alongside me explain to her companion that Ms Streisand was probably only worried about "illegal recording equipment" being smuggled in.

Still working on it. I have yet to be converted to digital pictures- I'd much rather use film- which means that after they're developed, I have to have my pictures scanned by the one person in my house who has a scanner. So, unfortunately, I am on his schedule. Hopefully, he can do it tonight and I can post them later this evening.
That's beautiful Jeny...thanks so much for sharing.
Did Peters, whose character is a Broadway baby transplanted to Ireland, have any qualms about playing a lesbian, even in a family-friendly movie? "I was more nervous about playing Jewish," she notes, adding her trademark giggle. "And having to be an actress who read Chekhov."---this just cracks me up

Does anyone who attended remember any of the lyrics of the new song or maybe give us an idea of the gist of the song.
