| posted: 2/16/2007 at 1:47:33 PM ET Didn't they just announce a concert for Feb. next year? If that is still on and she was going to do a Bway show by the time it got to Bway it would have to be a limited run so that she could be in LA in Feb.
And yeah I was thinking of a few more too but I'm afraid to make travel arrangements in case they get canceled.

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 2/16/2007 at 1:55:42 PM ET So basically, what we know right now:the March concerts are on, April is out, May, June are on, August and Sept -don't know. She cleared April, but maybe for reasons other than a play--could be: filming a movie; shooting a tv show or Law & Order; maybe it wasn't selling well, maybe there was a problem with the contract/musicians/wine selection. Maybe there's something personal going on in her life/someone else's life that she needs to attend to. All speculation.
If she's going to do a play, I'd guess it won't be until the season that starts in September 2007--but I don't know how the LA Phil. in Feb. 2008 fits in-- perhaps a week off to go there and perform? Perhaps a short contract? More speculation!
Anyway, thanks again PTM for the phone calls and letting us know--anyone else?

I called the box office this morning and they said that I have to mail the ticket back to them in order to get a refund. I've been able to get a refund over the phone before (not with Lehman but another place) but maybe that is because I had the ticket mailed to my house. Just wondering.

Looks like it's up to each ticketholder to pursue the matter individually. In other words, if you didn't know better & had no other source of info, you'd just be showing up at the theatre on April 28. Has that become the new norm with ticket sales? Every ticketholder for him/herself?

| posted: 2/20/2007 at 1:48:08 PM ET I also called the Lehman Center this morning and was told that I need to send my tickets in and they would then issue a refund. They will just credit my credit card. I was told to photocopy the tickets before putting the originals in the mail and mail them to the box office, attention Bill. He told me that he wanted to send paperwork out last week informing everyone that the concert had been canceled and to get refunds going. However, he said the way it is being done at the moment is to send the tickets back and then get the refund.

And yes, I spoke with Bill and he was very informative. So make sure to address it to his attention.

| posted: 3/7/2007 at 8:03:35 PM ET I just received an envelope from the Lehman Center. Inside was a letter officially informing me that the concert is canceled and a form for me to fill out and send back. This form has several options for the tickets. We can either donate the tickets to the center and become a "friend" of the center, we can trade them in for a different show, or we can simply send them back for a refund. We also have the option of getting two free tickets to The Flying Karamazov Brothers for our troubles. So you all should be getting the same packet soon, I would imagine. Just FYI.
