| posted: 4/19/2006 at 1:31:42 PM ET I don't recall having seen this before. I didn't watch a lot of TV during the time this originally aired. I'm sure others have probably seen it since, but I still thought it was a nice find. Bernadette looks and sounds beautiful here.

| posted: 4/19/2006 at 1:56:52 PM ET I think that was shortly after 9/11. She seemed to have guested on several talk shows around that time advertising the public service announcement all the Broadway Stars did in Times Square to help get tourism back to NYC.
Edit: Duh, it says it right under the clip. Sorry, my screen wasn't big enough to see that at first.

Registered: 3/17/2006 | posted: 4/20/2006 at 1:30:34 AM ET Dose anyone know the date that she performed on Larry King? If you go to his web site it post all the episodes back to 2000. But they don't mention BP. She probably wasn't the whole hour.

"KING: We close on a musical -- thank you. We close on a musical high note and Bernadette Peters will supply it next. Don't go away.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
KING: She is a two-time Tony winner, she is the wonderful actress and singer Bernadette Peters. Got a new album coming called "Bernadette Peters Sings An Album of Rogers and Hammerstein Songs." [Jean says: not quite the right album title]
She is going to do one tonight. You love them, right?
BERNADETTE PETERS, SINGER; I love them. I just think that I was supposed to record September 12 and of course we didn't. And we went in a week later and the musicians said, this feels so good. It is so soothing and it is uplifting (UNINTELLIGIBLE) . It makes you feel good.
KING: This song, which was the close the "Carousel" is a hard song to sing, isn't it?
PETERS: Uh, yes.
KING: I mean, because it is emotional and you have got to hit new notes, and...
PETERS: Yes, that is right, but is a lovely song, and...
KING: Thank you so much for doing this.
PETERS: My pleasure.
KING: She is great. Bernadette Peters closes it out tonight with "You Will Never Walk Alone" from "Carousel."
(BERNADETTE PETERS SINGS "YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE")"
Jean says: the name of the song is "You'll Never Walk Alone"
