Hello all...I happened to run by this this morning and didn't know if anyone else had seen it before or not. I'm not sure what it's from....but here's the link. She's so darn cute and it's got some nice little clips from Annie Get Your Gun.

Terrific, thanks so much--makes me remember how much I enjoyed AGYG. Even more, it makes me realize how generous--and quietly so--Bernadette is.

Makes me wish I'd seen AGYG when it played in DC and I coulda seen it. And makes me wish I had her hair (just gorgeous).
Does anyone know where the clip is from? Tonys?
I'm guessing it was from when the musicians were going to strike(?).

The clips aren't from the Tony's--at least not all of them--I haven't watched in a while, but I remember very well what they did on the Tony's--it was a medley of I've Got the Sun in the Morning... and Old Fashioned Wedding. Could these be either from the Lincoln Center video or from some video done for publicity?
I did see AGYG in DC--it was very exciting, I hadn't seen Bernadette in a book musical in a very long time.

I remember the ad in the WashPost for AGYG.
But then I did not know of the wonderfulness of Bernadette. A life regret.
I have AGYG Tony performances on tape; I thought maybe, 'cause it ran a couple of years in NYC, that the clip came from the next year's Tonys or some such.
Hmmm, too much thought into this.
Cool clip, regardless.

I'm worse than you Sing Out Annie. I saw AGYG in NY but didn't know who Bernadette was and have almost no memory of seeing it and I can't find my playbill to prove it either.

Oh, my, that is bad, Rose, that you don't remember BP or the show. I'm guessing you were pretty young. I have all playbills since the first prof show I saw (it was "Hair" at Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami, and I still can't believe my mother let me go to a show with a nude scene -- of course, it was nothing by today's standards).
One always remembers her first time......

AGYG wasn't my first time. Cats was when I was 7. You're right I'll never forget it. When I saw AGYG I was pretty young. I did buy a program (I always do and have a nice collection) but we painted our apartment and it somehow got misplaced in storage.

There's always ebay, Rose.
Isn't it enjoyable to go back and look at them, though? Memories, plus sometimes finding the names of bit players who are now stars.
My collection is a treasure to me.
