| posted: 2/9/2005 at 6:06:39 PM ET Okay, this might seem silly but I had to post anyways. I put in my Gypsy cast recording today and was listening to the overture and thinking "why the heck did it have to close?" Nothing even compares to its brillance and I miss it to death! I mena, the casting of a show like this could not have gotten any better! BP, Tammy, John, the strippers?! Man, I miss that show like no other. Anyone else feeling this?

Its like "Sondheim and Lauretes music starring in Gypsy"! lol! and the vocals are incredible. No other overture will compare!

Driving home from work last night, on hearing "Rose's Turn," I was thinking: "God, why did it close? People just don't know what they missed," and "Wouldn't it be so great if they had a cast reunion and taped it?? Dream, dream, dream..."

This does not make me happy at all. But I'm sure it will turn up...hopefully, however, without gnaw marks from my dogs.

I thought it was interesting that in several interviews in connection with her latest concerts, Bernadette said she wished the show had not had to close. It seems that she was really relishing and drawing from the nightly ritual of becoming Rose.
