From: Alabama | posted: 6/30/2004 at 12:03:03 AM ET Hey guys. I'm gonna be at Broadway Barks next Saturday and I really wanted to see Wicked that weekend. I'm from Alabama and it is so hard for me to get to NYC so if anyone has tickets from July 9, 10(night show only), or 11th that they want to sell me I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, Vallerie

| posted: 6/30/2004 at 9:09:53 AM ET If you can't find anyone who has tickets before you go then try the box office that day or the day before for tickets the next day. It's a really hard ticket to get, and I know most of the shows (especially the weekend ones) are sold out for a while.
I got a great seat from the cancelation line one day, but you have to be towards the front of the line, so get there early if you do that.

From: Long Island, New York & Boston, | posted: 6/30/2004 at 11:26:07 AM ET I know this is a Bernadette Peters fan site and yes I love talking about Bernadette, but she clearly labeled the title "off topic" so if you only want to read about Bernadette, then stay away from the OT posts. And yes, we do have a theatre forum, but I know I rarely look at that forum. She probably wanted people to read her post so that she could get help quickly. And as much as I love Bernadette, lets not throw a fit every time someone happens to think of something else besides her. Not to mention that Bernadette is not doing a show right now, so there isn't much to talk about to begin with. I like this forum because I've gained many friendships from it and I like the fact that theatre fans are able to help other theatre fans. If you don't want to read about Wicked or whatever, then don't read the OT posts. It is your choice.

| posted: 6/30/2004 at 12:07:27 PM ET It is quite difficult to read tones when on a message board but I do believe Jarred's post was meant to be read with a fair amount of sarcasm. It seems we had this discussion a couple of days ago and most if not all agreed the occasional Off Topic post (if labeled as such) was okay.

I don't post here very often, but whenever I read something that is off-topic I can (with great accuracy) predict that the very next post will be someone policing the board for off-topic posts (if that wording makes any sense). I know that this has never been a problem before so I don't see why it has to become a problem now. I think that as long as the posts are labeled "OT" we should exercise a little tolerance. Our webmaster has done a fine job in the past of taking care of inappropriate material on this board.

Some fiber in the diet is called for, perhaps,
or better yet, a new Bernadette CD to bring peace and harmony once again to our land. . That would sure take the edginess off the board of late.

Registered: 3/14/2004 | posted: 6/30/2004 at 4:32:16 PM ET Actually, mojul was closest.....It was FULL sarcasm...However, we are all bernadette fans, otherwise, we wouldn't be on here, but even as it is....the other folders WERE put here for reasons like that...instead of flagging it "OT" everytime....just put it in the Theatre Folder....i check it as much as i do the Bernadette folder....and i know that everyone else doesn't but they should......the folders are there for a reason....sorry to the people who post in the theatre chat and never get any answer, but you cant keep crowding the Bernadette Folder with your OTs......pretty soon we wont even need a theatre folder.....

From: Alabama | posted: 7/1/2004 at 3:30:28 PM ET Ha, I feel like I did a post and run! I was desperate and posted on here because I've never gotten a response in other forms. I have plenty of friends to discuss theatre outside of Bernadette with. Anyways, I am gonna try the cancellation line if I can't get lottery tix. Thanks for all your help. If anyone sees this and has tickets to sell that would be great!
