AND THE AMERICAN THEATRE WING
TO JOIN FORCES FOR “DOWNSTAGE CENTER”"
Oh wait, maybe I should read the whole thing...the Press Release says "“Downstage Center” will be available as streaming audio on ATW’s website."

From: northern VA | posted: 4/23/2004 at 6:43:22 PM ET I guessed I missed it. But how neat that you can request songs. And dedications?
EDIT: In case you're wondering,Ch.47-simply titled "Ethel"-does not refer to an Ethel Merman station. I don't know exactly *what* it is,but it ain't Merman. Lord, help me. I'm such a theater geek. I feel like Paul at Damascus.
Psst...if you want a really good Internet Broadway station, try AccuRadio's. I think the satellite site is a commercial for the actual thing. I've thought about getting satellite radio off and on,so I'll have to check it out. Anyone have it-is it worth it?
Jenn (And who else would be simply referred to as Ethel? Can someone back me up here? Please? Maybe it's the DJ.)

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 4/23/2004 at 7:12:07 PM ET Apparently, from what I can tell, "Fred" is the name of their channel that plays alternative rock from the late seventies through the early nineties, and "Ethel" is their channel that plays that style of music from the early nineties to the present.

From: northern VA | posted: 4/24/2004 at 7:54:27 AM ET It sounded like techno music! Maybe I turned it off too quickly. I used to be into alternative music when I was in high school.
Well....I guess no one heard the show?
