Has anyone gotten the new DVD? I'm all about special features on DVDs and I was wondering if Bernadette appears in any of them! It's one of my favorites so buying the new DVD is definately on my to do list!

You either got it, or you aint!

I was disappointed with Bernadette's visibility on the DVD. The special features of the DVD are really geared toward young children. They show a behind the scenes feature and I think there is one shot of Bernadette (about a second or two long) and there is one point when I think Bernadette gives Aileen Quinn a really big hug but they have the camera so tightly focused on Aileen that you really don't even know who is hugging her. I just recognized her Lily costume.

Thanx, Moljul!

I think I will rent this one instead of buying it! I actually have the remastered tape, and it disappointed me as well. There are times where characters are talking and you can't even see them!

You either got it, or you aint!

I bought it about 2 weeks ago...basically just trying to get rid of VHS tapes, and slowely buy DVD's of tapes I have. I love the movie, so I'm not dissapointed with it; but there's really nothing very special about it. In fact I'm a little mad because during the song "We Got Annie", when Ann Reinking comes in the house there is supposed to be a part when she and the maids say "We Got Annie", and for some reason they don't say it. The choreography does not skip at all, but the sound apparently does...only for that part though, so I'm just gonna deal with it.

I know this is kind of off topic but is I have a copy of the Annie soundtrack that isn't the edition with Bernadette. Does she have enough songs on the CD to buy it again?

In my opinion, no. The video or dvd is certainly worth having, but not really the cd since Bernadette's only in the one number, and the rest of the recording isn't all that great.

The cd is definitely not worth buying. Not only is she in one song, but the song on the cd is recorded differently from the movie, and it doesn't sound as good.
In fact, all of the songs sound worse on the cd.
