This may be somewhat premature since we all are hoping that Gypsy will be extended beyond 2/28, but in the event it isn't ......
I had tickets for the 2/28 matinee & evening shows several months before the announcement. It sounds like many folks who communicate on this board are going, or hope to go, to the show 2/28.
If 2/28 does end up being the last performance would folks who are able to go maybe want to get together either before or after the 2/28 show(s)? We can then connect names with faces, etc and generally commiserate
about the closing?
Don't know if this has been done before, but it's just a thought.

I think this is a good idea. I'm trying to get tickets for the matinee on the 28th, but all thats left are some side seats in the balcony. Still, I feel I really need to be there so I don't care where I sit. There are some good seats left for the night show, and it would be super to go and see the final peformance. Imagine the final "Rose's Turn!" so devastating.
And we could all gather and tell Bernadette that we are from her site and love her so much!

I will be there for the matinee. I could possibly meet up prior to the matinee but have to catch the bus back to Maryland right after the show.

I just got two tickets to the night performance in orch row R i think the seats are decent they are on the right side three seats from the isle. i might be able to do something after or before the night show.  I'm sooooooooo excited!

OMG you got those tickets! Thats insane, I saw those exact seats on telecharge this afternoon and was going to order them at 11 tonight.

I was going to try and get some tickets (ANY tickets) to the Sat. 2/28 evening performance...but I don't know if I can because I just saw the show on 2/3...but I;m trying!!

I started this post in early February when Gypsy's closing notice was posted. I suggested that those of us who will be seeing Gypsy on 2/28 --- Bernadette's birthday --- possibly get together before or after the matinee and/or the evening performance. Anyone still game for the idea? It can be the first meeting of the "Fanadettes."

I still can possibly do something before the matinee or something fast after the matinee. I will not be there for the evening performance.
