I was looking on Playbill online today and I saw a casting notice for Gypsy. They are casting for the children's roles. Does anyone know when the kid's contracts are up? I was hoping to get the see them in the show one more time but it looks like I might not be able to!

For anyone who hasn't seen the show, these kids are incredible. I've seen tons of kids onstage and I can't get over how wonderful the Gypsy kids are!

You either got it, or you aint!

I'm not sure if they are extending their run, but as far as children in any show go there is a height requirement. Now someone like Heather Tepe who is very tiny for her age to begin with could probably continue a few months past her contract's end-date, but Addison, Molly, and the boys have all gotten quite tall since the show first opened.

To answer your question, I believe their contracts end on May 1st, but I'm not entirely sure?

I have to make a correction. A friend informed me that the children's contracts actually end on March 28th with the possibility of Heather Tepe and her understudy staying on a little longer (as I thought she might).
