2nd Tony nomination

Bernadette earns her second Tony nomination, this time in the Best Actress (Musical) category.

Angela Lansbury won for her role as Rose in Gypsy (revival). The other nominees were Lola Falana in Doctor Jazz and Ann Reinking in Goodtime Charley.

Bernadette guested on the first episode of this 6 week summer replacement variety series on ABC hosted by country singer Jim Stafford. Other guests included Gavin MacLeod and the Captain & Tennille.

Bernadette guested on episode #72, "Rumpus in the Rumpus Room," on the fourth season of this popular CBS sit-com. She played the role of Kathy Rivers (reference books list the character's name as Kathy Griffith but in the show she's introduced as Kathy Rivers).
