Into The Woods opened at the Martin Beck Theatre. It closed Sept 3, 1989 after 804 performances. Bernadette played the role of the Witch.

(Bernadette left the show on March 30, 1988, due to a prior comittment to film "Slaves of New York".)

Into the Woods -Recording

The Original Broadway Cast recording of Bernadette's "Into the Woods" was released on RCA. The recording won the Grammy for Best Musical Cast Show Album.
