Sunday In The Park With George, taped live in front of an audience at the Booth Theatre, premiered on television on the Showtime channel. It was repeated on PBS American Playhouse on June 16, 1986.

Drama League Award

Bernadette received the 52d Annual Drama League Award for "outstanding performance of the season" for Song & Dance. The League honors only one performance in any given year.

Drama Desk Award

Bernadette won her second Drama Desk Award for "outstanding actress in a musical" for Song & Dance.
