The Stars Salute Israel

Bernadette guested on "The Stars Salute Israel At 30," a 2 hour variety special celebrating Israel on its 30th anniversary, broadcast on ABC. Over 30 stars appeared, including Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Barbra Streisand, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gene Kelly, Henry Fonda, Anne Bancroft, Kirk Douglas, and Cicely Tyson. James Lipton was a co-producer.

Bernadette guested on The Tonight Show with guest host Steve Martin. Other guests included Glen Campbell and Richard Pryor. Bernadette sang "Not Much" and "Send In The Clowns" and discussed opening in Las Vegas with Steve Martin later that week.
