Totally agree about the Broadway boards. I used to be a big-time poster on BWW. I too thought I would miss it, but I really don't. I still go to the website to check out news items and photos; but I don't miss the drama of their message boards at all.
It's a shame that people on there, or some fans in general, feel the need to hate-target one person because they like someone else so much more and could not possibly like both.
ie:I for one don't understand some peoples' obsessions with Laura Bell Bundy. However, I don't HATE LBB just because I like Kristin Chenoweth.
With Patti and Bernadette, I enjoy them both so much that it surprises me to see people categorized as either Bernadette fans or Patti fans. I feel like a child with parents in the middle of a divorce all over again. lol

To expand my response, no, you're not technically breaking any rule, but, yes, you're violating the spirit of the place; first, by posting anonymously (allowed, but not encouraged) and secondly, by childishly taunting us. If your jokes were funny, that would be one thing, but they're not...remotely...
I have the feeling you couldn't care less about Patti LuPone, you just think it's a hoot to come here and yank our chains.

Jessica, I understand that sentiment (I've certainly heard it before), but I don't really agree with it. I'm personally willing to talk with a lot of different people. I prefer to use my own judgement in deciding who is worth engaging in dialogue. (if that ain't too pretentious a way of putting it  )
