Last evening I attended the opening night of "A Mother, A Daughter, and A Gun."
It's such a nice mix of comedy and drama. A bit long during some moments, but overall a good play.
AND, I met Veanne Cox (aka Bernadette's "Daughter" in Cinderella). She is the daughter in the play.
She's such a funny and nice person. My friends and I had like a half hour conversation with her.
I never brought up Cinderella. lol I was tempted at one point, but we were so involved in talking about other things that it slipped my mind.
I would reccomend seeing this only if you like plays. If you're strictly a musical theatre fan, then do not go. But I enjoy plays, and I enjoyed this.
Also, Olympia Dukakis is in it! She plays the Mom, and she is so completely brilliant.

I've been meaning to see this show as I am a huge fan of Veanne Cox. Hopefully I'll be able to!
