It's getting extremely negative buzz. It does sound like a disaster in the making.

From what I'e listened to on the sampler CD I recieved, it has a poorly concieved storyline along with repetative, non character growing 'elevator' music songs.

My friend was supposed to be in it - he was in the workshop of it and hated every minute of it. He just kept saying that the cast was very talented but the material was the worst. He said that from the very beginning of the workshop they knew they would be going to Broadway because the composer/lyricist is quite wealthy and was going to fund most of it himself. In the meantime, my friend got a role as an understudy in a very successful new show and decided that he'd rather be an understudy than suffer in the horrible "In My Life".
I also got the demo - I tried to forget what my friend told me but I still didn't care for it.
