Today, I bought a 1000 piece Springbok jigsaw puzzle of George Seurat's "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte." Now, I have to wait for a very snowy day to start it as I listen to 'Sunday in the Park with George!'

My cats have already eyed it and are thinking of making it a 948-piece puzzle!

wow. I can only imagine how gorgeous it must look. And don't wait for a snowy day, any day is great for SITPWG.Yup, i was right (cranking up the volume during Move on)

Wow. Where did you get the puzzle? I think that would be really interesting to put it together.

I found it totally by accident. Went into store to drop envelope at postal sub station and there was a rack of puzzles. I love doing jigsaws -- and Springbok's are the best -- so I took a look and there is was!

I'm jealous- I really want one.

ooooh, ooh!!!! recently at on of the icecream parlors in my downtown i realized that there was a mock painting of the Island La Grand Jatte with the Simpsons characters replacing the original painting's people. It was really cool. It'd be wonderful to have a collection of something like that.

I have the vocal score of Sunday in the Park with George. I would love to get a copy of the CD so I can hear how the songs go.
