Why wouldn't she be mentioned? If its an autobiography, he's writing about his life and everyone involved in it. Unless, its an autobiography about one specific part of his life such as his life as an entertainer ect...

For the same reason she wasn't mentioned in the anniversary symposium on the anniversary of "Pennies from Heaven".

Well I wouldn't be surprised if she was mentioned in some way if his book is even covering that time of his life. Though I agree any information would be very minimal and completely of a professional nature as they both seem very respectful of the privacy of their past relationship. Which I totally respect and admire.

Though its not like they aren't "friendly" hence his presence in the audience and backstage at one of her Gypsy performances and her mention of being his girlfriend on Regis and in one of those AFI Salutes to Movies. I mean its not like they are trying to deny a 5 year relationship that was well publicized. I remember an article written about one of her concerts in the late 80s and the fact that his parents showed up in the audience and visited her backstage. I believe his father was quoted in the article.
