Is there something I can add to track visitors? It sounds creepy, I know, but I need to know statistics and such. Is this something that will cost extra? I have already upgraded to the Blogger beta. Help Center isn't so helpful.

I'm afraid I know nothing about tracking visitors, but I love your new blog. My only beef is that the white type on dark background is a bit of a strain on my rapidly aging eyes, but then I suppose kids don't have that problem.

Doesn't give me people's specific email addresses - I don't need to be that big brotherish - but it's fun to see generally where people are from - it's basically their server locations - since I loaded my site meter at the end of September, I've had over 11,000 visitors from all corners of the world. It's super fun!

I am thinking about changing the background. We have a teen blog in the works, and the librarian in charge of that may switch to that background. Since I'm not really writing for children-it's really for the parents and teachers-I will probably change it.
I don't need email addresses, so sitemeter sounds perfect.

Better template Jenn. I know other bloggers that use the one w/ the polka dots and I think its difficult to see. Blogging is fun and the possibilities are unlimited. I have met a world of people out there because of my blog...and I mostly just started it for myself. Have fun!

I'm a fan of Bernadette and was searching the web for her and I found a website with a video of her that I watched. Watch the video of her at http://www.petstyle.com I didn't know she had such a love for pets!

Gracie, thanks for the mention that Bernadette is a pet supporter. I knew about this and I think it's important that more people know. I love that some good-hearted celebs can use their status to get attention for good causes. I checked out PetStyle.com and it had a lot of cool stuff.
